WORKSHOP ON
COLPOSCOPY AND MANAGEMENT OF CERVICAL PRECANCERS
AT
REGIONAL CANCER
CENTRE

In connection with the observance of National
Cancer Awareness Week, the International School of Colposcopy
of Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Trivandrum in collaboration
with IARC is hosting a one day workshop on November 12th 2006.
Gynecologists and doctors interested in participating in this
workshop may kindly fill in the application form attached
behind and mail it to Dr. Ramani Wesley, Professor and Head,
Community Oncology (email: preventcancer@rcctvm.org, Tel:0471-2522376,
9447192171(M)) before 30th September, 2006. The selection
will be on the first come first serve basis. The major subjects
will be colposcopy, managerial guidelines for treating preinvasive
lesions, LEEP, cryotherapy, visual techniques like VIA, VILI
in early detection etc. The faculty include Dr.Sankaranarayanan
from Lyon, Dr.Esmy from CFCHC, Ambillikkai, and Dr.Ramani
Wesley, Dr.Rema, Dr.Suchetha, Dr.Thara Somanathan from RCC.
Lectures will be given using live video demonstrations and
slides.
Hotel accommodation will not be provided. However, accommodation
can be arranged if you can indicate your range of capacity.
N.B: This course is also opened to nurses and technicians
who assist gynecologists. Course fee: Rs.250.
